I hadn't heard of Daughters before listening to this album. I suggest the first time you put this on, you experience it as i happened to: wandering through streets and alleys of a cold and dark city. It's a collection of songs that don't care about you, the music always feel off and as if you're spinning, and the vocals go any where between whispers, pained howls, and hypnotic chanting. It's one of those albums that isn't made to deliver a group of songs, however thematically in sync or cohesive they may be together. This album is a fucking opera where you sit down and for an hour you just watch this fucking horror show.
